Earl Von Bye: Interesting man or total geek? You decide.
Earl Von Bye is a music industry professional specializing in dance music and DJ's, music production, audio engineering, label management, A&R, DJ development/mentorship & coaching, AV gear, turntables, and vinyl record manufacturing. He has been in the game a very long time and is kinda, sorta, somewhat of an expert in all these areas.
He is also a Star Wars geek, long boarder, table top gamer, headphone collector, Name That Tune champion, and with a good bottle of rum can sing every 80's tune ever written. His girlfriend is a 2011 Scion TC in crimson mica, lowered and customized...it's a love affair.
Lee Majors (AKA DJ Lithium): Vinyl warrior and FVX Jedi. Not geeky at all.
Lee Majors is a kat (meow)and analog gear specialist. His collection of synths and other magic music boxes would intimidate the unworthy. As a DJ he specializes in all vinyl sets, the last of the old guard so to speak. He launched the Black Tiger Recordings record label exactly 20 years ago, long before all the cool kinds started labels. He was also an early pioneer of Interwebs radio and had DJ sets streaming to the world 24/7 while the majority of people were still dialing up AOL and getting bent over their first email!
He is also a Sci-Fi aficionado and works in the film industry, having won awards for VFX multiple times over. Geeky types have likely seen his work on shows such as Battlestar Galactica and Iron Sky. As a resident of Las Vegas, USA, you just may find him at the D downtown betting it all on Red, or warming a barstool at the Griffin, or if your lucky, hanging out with Nicolas Cage in the kitchy 60's lounge in the back of the Peppermill. Viva Las Vegas Baby!
